A new facility in Mountrath has opened its doors, introducing locals to one of the world’s fastest-growing racket sports. The launch, led by Padel100, features modern courts and a fitness space designed to welcome players of all levels.
The opening event invited the community to try padel firsthand, highlighting its accessibility, social nature, and fast-paced appeal. Combining elements of tennis and squash, the sport is easy to pick up and ideal for all ages.
