✧ Learn, explore, and engage with AI through discussion and hands-on activities ✧

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly shaping how we work, communicate, and make decisions — yet it can feel confusing or intimidating. Introduction to AI is a free, 3-day, hands-on programme designed to make AI understandable, practical, and relevant to your everyday life.

In a friendly, supportive environment, participants will:

• Explore what AI is and how it affects work, life, and society
• Learn how different AI tools work and how to use them responsibly
• Discuss ethics, fairness, and bias in AI
• Take part in practical, hands-on exercises to build confidence and understanding
• Develop skills to engage with AI thoughtfully in everyday decisions

Programme Dates & Times: First 3 Thursdays of April, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (on 2, 9, and 16 April 2026)
Location: The Training Hub, Ace Enterprise Park, Clondalkin, D22 P6E8
Certificate: Certificate of Participation awarded by Maynooth University

Support & Accessibility:

• Laptops and all necessary equipment supplied. No need to bring your own!
• Free onsite parking and direct access to public transport (Buses 151, L54, 13, 51D, 68, commuter trains at Clondalkin Fonthill).
• Transport can be provided if requested in advance.

This programme is non-technical, discussion-led, and practical, making AI accessible and relevant for everyone, regardless of prior experience or background.

Participants should just have a basic working knowledge of using a laptop, including turning it on, navigating applications, and browsing the internet.

Is This Programme Right for You?
This programme is delivered in line with the HEA National Access Plan and is designed to support individuals from groups that have been historically underrepresented in higher education and tech training.

Eligibility includes individuals in receipt of social welfare payments, as well as others who meet the National Access Plan criteria (e.g. people with disabilities, carers, or survivors of domestic violence).

Please note: individuals in full-time paid employment may not be eligible unless they fall within one of the outlined access categories. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please contact info@acepark.ie before enrolling.
